Portable fridge/freezer 43Qt in Tucson, Arizona For Sale

OTR truckers, campers, sportsmen, travelers. This is an excellent working unit we bought brand new and took with us on a three week road trip/vacation. It is an Edgestar 12V DC portable refrig/freezer. The temp adjusts from -8 to 50 degrees and has a push button temp selection with a bright red led readout so there is no guessing as to the current temp. Also has a fast freeze selection to rapidly get down the temp. I can't say enough about how well this worked for us. On the way to N.Y. we used it in the refrig. mode, and never had to stop and play the bag of ice game. While at hotels for a week at a time, we brought it in to the room and used the supplied power cord. After my fishing trip, it was totally in freezer mode. While traveling back to Missouri and Az, we would leave it in the car unplugged overnight, and it would still be well below freezing with the fish never thawing in the least. They say you can leave it plugged in (hot outlet) with the car turned off, and it will not drain your battery. We didn't try that. It has two removable wire baskets, is well insulated, and is very quiet. It is quite large and on the heavy side. We just used the luggage dollys at hotel to wheel it up to our room. The one handle broke before our trip and we ordered a new one which was back-ordered. I rigged up a handle from Ace Hdwre, and the new handle finally arrived after we returned.
