Casitas Helena--Charming One bedroom At Casitas Helena, there are 2 one bedroom casitas (east and west) and 2 two bedroom casitas (east and west). Together they share a private, secure, common courtyard that offers an outdoor dining area with gas grill, a fire pit area with adirondack chairs, and a chaise lounge area perfect for reading, taking a nap in the afternoon sunshine, or watching stars come out at night. Built in xxxx, these casitas have been lovingly renovated to bring back its old world charm. The hardwood oak floors have been refinished and add a warmth to the interior living space. Each room has several windows which bring in an abundance of natural light. The one bedroom casitas have identical floor plans but are furnished differently as you can see in the photos. Potential guests can request a specific casita and we will do our best to honor your choice. Each casita is furnished with a comfy queen size bed, luxurious linens, full size couch in the living area, flat screen LCD TV with Direct TV, wireless internet connection, DVD player, bookshelf stereo system with Iphone dock, ceiling fans and central air conditioning/heating, and a kitchen with a microwave and toaster oven, fully stocked with everything you need to create delicious meals. A basement apartment has been turned into a complimentary on site laundry area and common room for guests. In addition, we provide complimentary commuter bikes so our guests can easily explore the central Tucson area and/or commute to the U of A campus or the University Medical Center (a 5 minute bike ride). Each casita also has one designated off-street parking space located in the rear parking lot.
