We provide coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and other goodies when you check in. Relax outdoors under our pergolas and watch the native wild birds at our many bird feeders. We have seen humming birds, robins, finches, woodpeckers, cactus wren, hawks, monarch butterflies (we planted some milkweed this year to help the little guys), lizards, and other wildlife here. La Casa Floja (The Lazy House) works as a rescue habitat for the Sonoran Desert Tortoise as well. We have fruit trees such as pomegranate, nectarine, tangelo, and orange. Feel free to pick and eat any of the fruit while you are here. Adding to the privacy of the courtyard you will see a large variety of vines covering the redwood fence with colorful flowers from the cats claw, carolina, jasmine, honey suckle, trumpet vines, and many varieties of bougainvillea. At La Casa Floja we want you to relax and feel at home so the casita is well furnished with its own queen bed (very comfy), and small futon, dining room table, and the kitchen is well stocked and has stainless appliances. Local one of a kind Sonoran artwork and warm desert colors grace the interior walls. We are in a great location close to downtown and with a bus stop right outside our fenced yard. We are easy to find as we are right on 5th st. We have High Speed Wi-Fi, Cable Flat Screen Tv, washer, dryer, and a wall mount AC. My husband and I will be close by if you need or want anything.
