I offer to you this ( British ) Enfield No.4 MKI* made by Savage Stevens in Chicopee Falls Mass. USA, under the Lend Lease Act of xxxx. These rifles were a very short and limited production from mid xxxx thru mid xxxx.
This example is 100 percent original factory condition without refinishing, repair. or additions of any kind. There are NO import markings whatsoever. That being said to verify, here is the list of factory markings:
..."US PROPERTY" marked on the receiver.
...Serial # 92C xxxx marked on the receiver band and bolt assembly.
...Savage logo/proof mark on the receiver, bolt assembly, cocking piece, barrel, front sight, rear sight, front barrel band, butt plate, magazine and magazine spring. THATS WHAT YOU CALL MATCHING NUMBERS FACTORY ORIGINAL !!!
