Very hard to find DPMS 308B
I retired a few years ago and my hobby is to take a new Stock DPMS LR 308 and customize it, make it really cool. This is the 5th one that I have done in the last few years. It does not have everything that I would like to do to it, but I did not want the cost to be too high. The price I have the rifle for sale is about what I have in it. Not looking to make a big profit, looking to get enough out of it to do this again. I just enjoy working on them.

This 18" version offers much of the same accuracy of the LR-308, but in a configuration that is 2lbs. lighter, making it a nice blend of benchrest and hunting rifle.

Upper, Lower Receiver and forearm have been coated with Cerakote ceramic firearms coatings in Magpul OD Green. The barrel Cerakote In black.
This rifle is better than new. After CUSTOMIZING this rifle, I took it to the range. I followed the DPMS Barrel Conditioning and brake in guide lines;
Clean the chamber and bore after every shot for the first 25 and then after every 10 up to 100. There has been 100 rounds shoot in this gun.

The rifle has been CUSTOMIZED and up graded:
1. Stock: A2 Fixed Stock UP GRADE: MagPul® MOE Rifle Stock
2. Barrel 18" Bull: Barrel has been turned on a lathe and threaded 5/8 24 for Miculek Muzzle Brake. Mussel Brake was cut so that a Crush Washer would not be needed. The mussel brake looks like it has been machined into the barrel.
3. Charging Handle: Ambidextrous Charging Handle
4. Upper, Lower Receiver and forearm have been coated with Cerakote ceramic firearms coatings. In OD Green.
5. Plastic Grip has been replaced with Hogue Overmolded Beavertail Pistol Grip AR-15 with Finger Grooves in OD Green.
6. Removed Railed Gas Block and Carbine no-vented Length Free Float Tube Handguard. Installed DPMS Micro Gas Block (Bull .936 Inner Diameter) and Rifle Length 12.5? Tube Style Free Floating vented Handguard
