SKS BULLPUP 7.62x39 - Norinco SKS in Tucson, Arizona For Sale

SKS BULLPUP 7.62x39 - Norinco SKS
Price: $699
Type: Sport, For Sale - Private.

SKS with Shernic SG Bullpup kit including optional tri-rail, sling mount and extended mag release. Comes with original stock, magazine, bayonet and upgraded with a Bullpup kit and professionally installed by a 20 year veteran. Looks like a Tavor but shoots the ever plentiful, harder hitting & much cheaper 7.62x39 round. Amazing gun! Updated price to reflect investment - save hundreds!!! I've got a Tavor and apart from some minor ambidextrous perks - there's very little difference. Over $900 invested with magazines, kit, optional upgrades, base SKS rifle, fore grip and optics!!! There's one listed for sale in Gunbroker for $950! Even that's worth it but selling mine for $250 less!!!
Here's a link to the developer's website where you can read a ton about the bullpup kit and, if you already have an SKS you want to covert, get yourself a modernized piece of hardware: http://sgworks.com/
This Bullpup gets lots of looks at the range - more than my AK47 rifles that cost way more. This gun is also one of the most accurate I've fired - getting solid groups at 200 yards with no problem. Mounting a scope is a breeze with the built-in rail system. Also has bottom and side rails for other accessories like lasers for quick target acquisition and flashlight. I've done SKS configurations in various stocks and aftermarket platforms but the bullpup blows them all away hands down. What's great is the SKS is a piston driven platform making it on par with what AR's are just now starting to implement technology wise moving away from the direct impingement system. Many people don't know the SKS platform is arguably as reliable as the AK47 due to the piston keeping the hot dirty gasses from entering the chamber thus allowing it to run cooler and cleaner than any DI system. Additionally, the SKS is a milled receiver - something way less common on the AK47. The barrels are also chrome lined giving it excellent wear characteristics. Finally, the Chinese versions are possibly the best SKS I've ever operated. I've had Russian and Yugo's but prefer the Chinese hands-down and have never had a problem with any of them given proper care and maintenance.
Not interested in trades and price is firm. I posted pictures side-by-side with a Tavor to show the differences between the two. Note the Tavor lacks simple things like a rail on the bottom portion of the weapon so no front grips. Tavor's cost a lot more and then you get reamed again when you have to go out and purchase upgrades to the lacking design. You can easily get over $2K into a Tavor vs. the rifle; which will arguably last longer and in the end be much cheaper to operate.
